We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, April 6th from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, April 7th from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: if you are interested in one of our dogs so we can set up to meet with you. We only bring those dogs who are set up to meet with pre-approved applicants.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at adoptions on Saturday, March 16th at Campbell Pet Food Express from 12:30-4pm and on Sunday, March 17th from 12:00-3:00 pm or until adopted. Copper is about 1 year old. Beautiful gold coloring on this Lab. He ended up at the animal shelter after being abandoned at a park. This is most likely a dog, who's family had very good intentions when they brought him home as a puppy. They didn't do much in the way of training, although he does know how to sit on command! Copper is a very strong 70 pound dog who has so much drive, he just doesn't know how to channel it. He has been paired with another dog of his size and age. The 2 play all day long and at the end of the day, he is still ready for more. As much as he loves to play, he also loves his quiet time with his foster mom. He will spend hours, rolling around in the grass, soaking up all the love and attention from his newest human companian. He adoptive family will need to be very experienced dog people. If they are a family that has had Labs as their chosen past pets, all the better. Copper has so much potential, that in the right hands and with the right training, is going to be simply awesome. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
