Not all dogs go to our events. Pls read entire biography before emailing. We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, January 26th from 11:30-3:30pm & Sunday, January 27th from 12-4pm at the Blossom Hill Pet Food Express in San Jose. *So. CA: We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted. *Las Vegas: We are doing adoptions on January 30th with those applicants who are pre-approved. If interested in a specific dog, please submit your application! We will set up appointments with our Vegas adopters once an application has been submitted and interview completed. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at Blossom Hill Pet Food Express on January 26th 11:30-3:30pm & January 27th from 12-4pm or until adopted. if you want the first opportunity to meet and potentiall adopt this dog, you must first fill out an application. Atlantis is a 1 year old Husky mix. He weighs about fifty lbs. He is very friendly with his people. He may be reserved for about five minutes and then it's all about them. He is higher energy and needs that family or Mom/Dad that wants an active dog. He loves to play with other dogs but sometimes can be a bit overwhelming for some that don't match his energy level. He likes to jump on them and try to entice them to play. Some just don't appreciate him and he has no idea why! He currently lives with a German Shepherd and a Shiba Inu mix. They all play really well together. Atlantis was a rescue from the shelter. He was listed as a stray at the shelter. His former owners never came to claim him. We thought he was stunning with his blue eyes and we couldn't forget him so we didn't! Our boy is an option to go to a home with older children. He would love nothing more than to play fetch or run agility courses. Atlantis is crate trained.

You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
