We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, April 20th from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, April 21st from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: if you are interested in one of our dogs so we can set up to meet with you. We only bring those dogs who are set up to meet with pre-approved applicants.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at adoptions on Saturday, April 20th at Campbell Pet Food Express from 12:30-4pm and on Sunday, April 21st from 12:00-3:00 pm or until adopted. If you would like to meet this dog then please fill out an application so we will bring this dog to adoptions. Lord Grantham is a 2 year old Shih Tzu. He gets along well with other dogs. He currently lives with big and small ones. He's an option for going to doggy day care or to the dog park. He's not a pushover by any means but he won't start the fights either. He's funny, feisty, loving, cuddly and full of life. He was rescued from the shelter and was shaved down there. He is starting to grow in his beautiful coat which eventually will need regular grooming. Lord Grantham is not a barker. He will bark when appropriate so he is an option for living in an apartment or condo setting. He's a meeter and greeter so he's an option for going out in public to dog friendly establishments like Peet's Coffee, Home Depot or your local eatery that allows dogs. He's learning how to walk on the leash. Clearly that is an all new concept for this lad. Lord Grantham is an option for living in a home with older kids. As we have not had him with small kids we can not say he is an option for the younger ones.

(Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
