Not all dogs go to our events. Pls read entire biography before emailing. We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, April 6th from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, April 7th from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: if you are interested in one of our dogs so we can set up to meet with you. We only bring those dogs who are set up to meet with pre-approved applicants.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at adoptions on Saturday, March 23rd at Campbell Pet Food Express from 12:30-4pm and on Sunday, March 24th from 12:00-3:00 pm or until adopted. If you would like to meet this dog then please fill out an application so we will bring this dog to adoptions. Skylar is a 3 year old, 12.5lbs, Mini Schnauzer-Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) mix. He has the non-shedding coat but due to the mix may not necessarily be one that is suitable for those who have allergies. Rather it is an option for those who simply want the non-shedding coat. Skylar is your typical Terrier. He is confident, independent and ready to take on the world. If someone challenges, he says, 'Bring it on! I'm a tough guy.' He won't start squabbles but like any good Terrier he won't back down. Skylar currently lives with big and small dogs. There's one that likes to stir things up with him and he has told he now has a no-tolerance policy for that dog's shenanigans! That's our Skylar. He's fabulous. Skylar is an option for older kids. He's an option to live in an apartment or condo setting. He's not a barker. He is crate trained.

(Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
