Not all dogs go to our events. Pls read entire biography before emailing. We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, April 20th from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, April 21st from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: if you are interested in one of our dogs so we can set up to meet with you. We only bring those dogs who are set up to meet with pre-approved applicants.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at adoptions on Saturday, April 20th at Campbell Pet Food Express from 12:30-4pm and on Sunday, April 21st from 12:00-3:00 pm or until adopted. If you would like to meet this dog then please fill out an application so we will bring this dog to adoptions. Annie Oakley & Billy the Kid are 10 week old Poodle-Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix pups. Their mom was Poodle (white at that!) and well, they're obviously more like their Dad who is unknown. Mom came into the shelter pregnant and had the puppies at the shelter. We were then contacted and asked if we would take mom and pups. Mom was about 10lbs and we expect these pups to be 10lbs or under. Annie Oakley looks more like a Shih Tzu. Billy Kid is more like a Yorkie. And their personalities much more resembler those breeds. Billy the Kid is very outgoing and friendly and into everything. He's a go-getter. Annie is quieter and more docile. Both are wonderfully natured just like their mom. Both live in a foster home with dogs, cats and older kids. We prefer to place in homes with older kids or very dog savvy parents who demonstrate such on the app with younger kids. The puppies love to play with toys so get out the toy chest!

(Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
