We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, February 23rd from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, February 24th from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: Please fill out an application if you are interested in one of our dogs. We do adoptions by appointment 1-2 times a month. If we have more applicants then we will come more often.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

Peanut Butter is 1 year old. This darling boy is just a sweetheart. His family adopted him when he was just a few months old. After having a baby, realized that it was too much for them to take care of a pup, a baby as well as hold down their jobs. So, Peanut Butter is with us now. Peanut was very shy initially, but has come around full circle. Children do intimidate him, so not only should his new family have dog savy adults, but should have dog savy children as well. He will do best with older children. We don't have concerns that he would hurt a child, but he does seem to be fearful of young children. He is very playful with other dogs, is crate trained and has been a great dog in his foster home. Has medium energy, so medium exercise needs as well. A great quiet tempered dog that is a great size for someone that enjoys spending time with their pets, but doesn't have the desire to run or walk several miles a day to keep up with their dog. As long as he gets some daily exercise whether that be playtime at home, a stroll around the neighborhood, or some time at the dog park or dog beach, he will be a very content boy. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
