Not all dogs go to our events. Pls read entire biography before emailing. We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, April 20th from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, April 21st from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: if you are interested in one of our dogs so we can set up to meet with you. We only bring those dogs who are set up to meet with pre-approved applicants.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

Madison is 5 years old. A beautiful girl who is a little on the portly side. She came from an animal shelter. We don't know how she ended up there or why. What we do know, is that she loves being with people. Madison does have some separation anxiety. She does fine while outside with the other dogs and seems to be very well socialized with other dogs, both big and small. She is happiest inside with her family. Of course, if you are outside enjoying the day, she would love to be with you there too! She enjoys car rides and walks on the leash. If you are at home working on the computer, she will be laying at your feet. If you are watching TV, she will be laying at your feet. Pretty much a shadow to her human friends. She will need time to adjust as she is very unsure of what is going on in her life right now. She is terribly confused and is looking for a kind, understanding family to call her own. We do not know how she would do with children. Her foster home does have cats, but she has shown interest in chasing them, so unless her family is interested in teaching her to leave the cats alone, it would probably be best if there were no cats in the home. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
