Not all dogs go to our events. Pls read entire biography before emailing. We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, February 23rd from 12:30-4pm & Sunday, February 24th from 12-3pm at Campbell Pet Food Express . *Las Vegas: Please fill out an application if you are interested in one of our dogs. We do adoptions by appointment 1-2 times a month. If we have more applicants then we will come more often.*So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

Our Mardi Gras litter is 8-9 weeks old. Their Mom was a Chow mix and Dad was a German Shepherd mix. We were notified about that the adults needing to be altered and then asked if we would help with the puppies. We fixed Mom and Dad and took the puppies when they were 6 weeks old. The puppies have been in a foster home with dogs, cats and children. They are friendly and outgoing. There are 3 females and 2 males. They are just full of fun. The puppies are expected to be in the 60lbs range when full grown. Mom was about 55lbs and Dad was about 65lbs. The Mom of the litter had a fabulous personality and an absolute love. Her puppies all appear to have a similar personality. They are full of themselves. They play-play-play and then crash. And then about 2am they wake up and well can't imagine why the foster family doesn't want to play with them! They are papertrained. They will easily transition to doing their business outdoors. The puppies love to play with toys so get 'em ready!

We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
