We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ** * NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, June 15th from 11:30-4pm at Campbell Pet Food Express. *Las Vegas: We will be doing adoptions by appointment. if you are interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application so we can set up to meet with you. We only bring those dogs who are set up to meet with pre-approved applicants. *So. CA: If the dog is fostered in So CA then we can do an adoption any day. We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at adoptions on Sunday, June 9th from 1-5pm at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express or until adopted. If you are interested and would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application. Pierre is a 7 year old Bichon-Noodle (Bichon-Poodle) mix. He is a beautiful boy who was all matted when he came into our rescue. But presto, go to a great groomer, and he looks fabulous! Pierre has a non-shedding coat that is good for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who is non-shedding. He will require regular grooming. Poor guy obviously wasn't groomed prior to come into the rescue but we've promised him a whole new life! Pierre has the sweetest personality. He is a total lover boy. He is confident without being overly so. He loves other dogs but he's fine to be by himself. He's crate trained. He is fine with kids, we prefer older kids with our small dogs and he's fine with cats. This is a dog who can go out in public, meet and greet with folks, go to dog parks, go to dog friendly establishments or go with Mom to take the kids to school. Pierre needs a confident, pack leader type of home.

We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
