Not all dogs go to our events. Pls read entire biography before emailing. We do adoptions in different areas of CA and Las Vegas ***NO CA: We will be doing adoptions next on Saturday, January 26th from 11:30-3:30pm & Sunday, January 27th from 12-4pm at the Blossom Hill Pet Food Express in San Jose. *So. CA: We do adoptions by appointment once an application has been submitted. *Las Vegas: We are doing adoptions on January 30th with those applicants who are pre-approved. If interested in a specific dog, please submit your application! We will set up appointments with our Vegas adopters once an application has been submitted and interview completed. **Please see note at the very bottom of the page regarding adoptions.
* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application.
* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

This dog will be at Blossom Hill Pet Food Express on January 26th 11:30-3:30pm & January 27th from 12-4pm or until adopted. if you want the first opportunity to meet and potentiall adopt this dog, you must first fill out an application. Brownie Sundae is a 10 month old Basenji-Shepherd mix who weighs about 45lbs and is full grown. She currently lives with dogs and kids. She gets along with the big and small dogs. She loves playing with the big dogs outside and then inside she curls up on the floor with the small dogs and they boss her around! She has excellent house manners. She is housetrained. She doesn't get on furniture and she is not a chewer. Despite being so young she is so well behaved. She has the best disposition. She lives with grandchildren who climb all over her and she is an awesome sport when they are pulling and tugging. Brownie Sundae was abandoned on a private residence road. Luckily those wonderful folks took her in. She had had puppies but they were no where to be found. She came in and made herself right at home. She has such a wonderful personality and is very much one who could go out in public and meet and greet. She is very sociable. She also would be an option to go to a dog park, hiking, biking, dog beach or anywhere that dogs are allowed!

(Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
