* All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordatella and Rabies), heartworm tested negative and are microchipped.

* We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted.
* We do not ship our dogs for any reason.
* Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy.

Ronnie Milsap (ok, so we just call him Ronnie!) is a 2-3 year old Cockapoo possibly Dachshund but he's tiny. He weighs under 10lbs and actually looks like a Cocker Puppy who has been shaved. He was shaved because poor little dude had a horribly matted coat and was covered in fox-tails. He couldn't have possibly been comfortable and barely moved until he had his whole coat taken off and all the foxtails removed. And then it was a like a bird who was free. He ran around the yard like he'd never run before. Ronnie loved playing with the other dogs, loved chasing after the birds, ran up and down the hills at the dog park like it was the first time he'd ever been outside. Life was finally good for our little guy. Now, that his coat is coming back in and he's completely settled he's ready to find his permanent home. Ronnie's been living in a foster home with dogs and kids. He's a great option for either. The kids should be over the age of 6 if they've had dog experience or over the age of 9 if they haven't had a dog in their home. We'll consider applications where parents demonstrate a vast amount of experience. At first Ronnie may be super quiet and shy. He's never become a barker but he'll want to check everything out first. It will most likely take him a few days to settle into new life and home so a home that understands he's not going to come in and jump all over everyone and greet them with kisses but rather will be quiet and reserved and probably need a space of his own, will see him blossom the quickest.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
